Cambodia Fuel Prices — Gasoline, Diesel & LPG Price Tracker

Current retail fuel prices at stations in Cambodia: gasoline, diesel, and LPG in KHR and USD. Updated weekly from Ministry of Commerce announcements, with history chart and effective date ranges.

No fuel price data available yet.

About this tool

The Cambodia Fuel Price tool shows the current retail price of gasoline, diesel and LPG at Cambodian fuel stations, in Khmer riel and US dollars per litre, together with a history of past weekly price cycles. Prices come from the Ministry of Commerce retail price announcements, ingested into the site through the azwebdata data platform; each price shows the date range it applies to, because Cambodian fuel prices are set in weekly cycles rather than changing continuously. The page also marks prices as stale when the latest announcement is older than about two weeks, so you can tell whether the number you are looking at is current. It is an information page, not a pump or a forecast: it cannot tell you the exact price at a specific station — retail stations may charge above or below the announced reference — and it does not predict future fuel prices, nor does it compare prices between individual stations or provinces.

How it works

The page fetches the latest fuel-price snapshots from the azwebdata internal API, preferring the first-party retail series sourced from Ministry of Commerce announcements; when that series is empty, it falls back to the commodity series so the page still shows the last known prices. The latest announcement date becomes the current cycle, and the effective-to date is computed as seven days after it, matching the weekly cadence of MoC announcements. A USD price per litre is derived from the Khmer riel price using the available USD/KHR rate when one is present. When no snapshots exist, the page reports empty prices with a stale flag; when the latest cycle is more than 16 days old, the current prices are flagged as stale rather than presented as fresh.

Use cases

  • A tuk-tuk driver in Phnom Penh checking this week’s announced gasoline price before filling up
  • A logistics operator estimating monthly fuel cost changes across the latest price cycles
  • A moto taxi rider comparing the current diesel or gasoline price with last week’s cycle
  • A household budgeting for LPG cylinder refills after a price announcement
  • A small delivery business watching the price history to time a bulk fuel purchase
  • A researcher tracking how announced station prices changed over the past months

Frequently asked questions

  • Is this the price I will pay at my local station?

Not necessarily. The numbers shown are the announced retail reference prices from Ministry of Commerce announcements, not a legally binding price at every pump. Stations in different provinces, and stations with different operating costs, can charge above or below the announced price. Use the page as the reference level, and check the pump price where you actually buy.

  • Why does the price show an effective date range?

Cambodian fuel prices are announced and applied in weekly cycles. Each entry shows the date the announced price took effect and the computed end of that cycle (seven days later). The “current” price is the one whose cycle is the most recent announcement date in the data.

  • Where does the price data come from?

The retail series is sourced from Ministry of Commerce fuel price announcements, ingested through the azwebdata data platform. The USD per-litre figure is derived from the KHR price using the available USD/KHR rate. When the retail series cannot be read, the page falls back to the commodity series and still labels the age of the data.

  • How can I tell whether the prices are current?

The page flags prices as stale when the latest announcement cycle is more than 16 days old, and shows empty prices with a stale flag when no snapshots exist at all. Checking the effective-from date of the current cycle is the quickest way to see how fresh the numbers are.

  • Why does the page sometimes show a price from weeks ago?

That happens when the retail series is empty — for example when a Ministry of Commerce announcement is published as an image the ingest cannot read — and the page falls back to the last known prices. The stale flag is shown in that case, so the age of the data is visible rather than hidden.

  • Does this page predict future fuel prices?

No. It shows announced prices and their history only. There is no forecast, no model and no estimate of where prices are heading. Planning on the visible history is fine; assuming the next announcement will follow a trend is not something this tool supports.

Data and accuracy

Ministry of Commerce retail fuel price announcements, ingested via azwebdata (retail series, with a commodity-series fallback). Prices are per litre in KHR; the USD figure is derived from the KHR price using the available USD/KHR rate. Cycles are weekly (effective-to is computed as 7 days after the announcement date); prices older than 16 days are flagged stale.
